How can you possibly defend yourself with soft training?

Wing Chun develops what we call "whole body kung fu" which means that when it comes time to strike the opponent, we use not only upper body muscles like the biceps and shoulders but we support those muscles with the legs, waist, and abdomen as well.

These "invisible" support muscles in a weaker or slightly built person add up through the principle of bodily structure to roughly the equivalent of bulkier upper arm muscles without proper lower body support.
